Addison has been enjoying Ashlyn so much, she loves to make her smile and laugh and when she is crying she will sing to her in a tiny voice. It makes my heart happy to see how compassionate my two year old is to her baby sister. Addie has been wanting to hold baby Ash lately all the time, the only problem with that is they are nearly the same size! After just a few seconds Addison will say " She is kinda heavy Mom" and I have to hurry and get her before Addison dumps Ashlyn out of her arms. Ashlyn is now at my favorite baby stage, she is happy and so chunky and loves to just babble and spit. Addison is now potty trained (thank the lord) and is so excited to be starting preschool in the fall. She likes to tell me how she is my big girl now, not my baby. If I call Ashlyn my baby Addie will tell me that Ashlyn is her baby because she is in love with her too much. Here is to hoping that lasts!
