We decided that we were going to take Addison fishing for the first time Memorial Day weekend. She has been begging to go for months. Nicky decided to come fishing with us, Addison LOVES to have Nicky and Drew around. We headed up American Fork canyon with some poles, salmon eggs, and purple power bait that Addison just had to have. She was not to interested in the fishing but she did love to play with the red salmon eggs (they are still currently scattered throughout my purse). Franklin spent a few hours untangling and putting hooks on the kiddos fishing poles. Finally Addie Kate looked at Franklin and said "Dad, I need a nap", and that was it we packed it up and headed home to
barbecue some hot dogs and
smores. It is so fun to watch the girls reactions to new activities, it is so refreshing to see how excited they get by the little things (like salmon eggs!).
