Go Utes!

For Grandpas birthday Brett, Addison and I took him to the University of Utah football game. Addison watches most of the games on TV with Franklin and Grandpa Ross and was really excited to go. Franklin was off to Vegas to see the Tar Heels so I was lucky enough to take her to her very first game. She was so happy to see all those people, she was equally excited about having cotton candy for the first time. Once she found out that it made a sticky mess she opted to have grandpa and I put it in her mouth for her so that she would remain un-sticky. She cheered, raised her "U" and yelled at the refs with the best of them.

After 4 hours of football she lost interest and had me keep taking her to the bathroom where she put up her arm as a gate and made the women exiting the restroom say the password to get past. The password was "Go Utes", all those women thought it was the funniest thing.

With 3 minutes to go in the fourth quarter Addison started to wander up the stands and sit by strangers, even sharing their blankets. She made lots of new friends and gave high fives to everyone. She had a great time and I was so impressed with how long of an attention span she had in the cold. After the game we came back home and had some "U" chocolate cake that we had made for Grandpa, it was such a great day.
